I've noticed lately that all of Christianity seems to be able to be summed up in 3 words.  Like…

Go / Live / Be
Believe / Belong / Become
Connect / Commit / Create

So, if we had to sum Jesus up in three words what would it be.  Don Everts made a stab at it a few years back in his book Jesus with Dirty Feet.  He says that Jesus walked, talked and healed.  Pretty good go at it.

I think if I had to pick three words for Jesus they would be Creator / Lover / Mentor.
(and this is strictly off of the cough sitting in the warm sun outside Starbucks…without much thought)

The more challenging thought to me is if I had to define my life by the same method what would those words be and how closely would they align to my core ideas about Jesus?  Before, even on this blog, I've said husband, father, pastor are the terms I would use to define me.  I can see an alignment there but would love to be able to hone it down more to a pure essence.

So how about you? What would you say?

Three words for Jesus.  Three words for you.  How well do they match up?
