The Countdown Has Begun

Now This Would Rock

With sports fans still getting used to their high-definition
television sets, the National Football League is already thinking ahead
to the next potential upgrade: 3-D.

Next week, a game between the San Diego Chargers and the Oakland
Raiders will be broadcast live in 3-D to theaters in Los Angeles, New
York and Boston. It is a preliminary step on what is likely a long road
to any regular 3-D broadcasts of football games.

The idea is a “proof of concept,” says Howard Katz, NFL senior vice
president of broadcasting and media operations. “We want to demonstrate
this and let people get excited about it and see what the future holds.”

My Favorite Time of the Year!

AMZMPKXTTMPOAGY.20080403195050
My Day:

9:30a     Find somewhere to Watch LSU vs. Appalachian State (probably Beef O Brady's)

10:00     LSU vs. Appalachian State (Geaux Tigers!)
12:30     Mow the yard
2:30p     USC vs. Virginia
6:00p     ULM vs. Auburn
6:44p     Short prayer that La Tech gets destroyed by Mississippi State
7:00p     Alabama vs. Clemson (Go Tigers!)
8:30p     Missouri vs. Illinois

I love this time of year; it's my fave.  I'm a little, well a lot, worried about this hurricane though.  Here's a great place to track it and know what is going on in south LA.

You can also keep up with LSU sports info here and here and ULM info here.
