How to Start a Monday?

Well let’s see…

I’m Proud of AT , and oh, how I love Les. I’ m also excited about this sequel sequel and My girls and I were moved, welcomed, blessed and challenged by our time at SIOC yesterday. And to leave you with a smile not only can the honey badger live through atmospheric re-entry in that suit he was wearing at the Heisman presentation but I think these two gems will get your Monday off to a good start as well, Chewbacca Sings Silent Night and Ron Paul’s Bad Lip Reading Video.

Peace ~

Help Out Summit High School

State Farm is having a contest!  They are awarding money to 52 schools for an amazing football play.  To our knowledge, Summit is the only school in our district competing for this opportunity.  The beauty for Summit is that we made history on the first play of our first-ever football game!  Philip Shearry returned the kickoff for a TD against Clarksville NW!!!

All you have to do to help is follow the instructions below or attached in PDF form!

Visit www.fridaynightfeats.com.

Once you are there you will need to register.

Then check your email to verify that your registration was processed.

Scroll down to Mid-American zone find the Summit High School clip, watch it and vote for it.

Each registered person can vote once per day.  We are over 600 votes out of first for our zone right now.  If everyone will take 3 minutes a day to vote for Summit’s play we can win our Zone easily.

The Grand Prize is $17,500.  Regardless, if we just win our zone that could be $2500.

I ask that everyone please, please, please…

1.            Register on the website and vote every day

2.            Send this email to all your friends and families and ask if they will do the same.

Thanks and Go Spartans!

From Things to People

“I am convinced that if we are to get on the right side of the world revolution, we as a nation must undergo a radical revolution of values. We must rapidly begin the shift from a “thing-oriented” society to a “person-oriented” society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered.”

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break the Silence”
